Amelia Grace Dashiell Scholarship - One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded in memory of Amelia Grace Dashiell, her passion for horses, her enthusiastic participation as a 4-H Centaur and her unrealized dream to pursue a career in the horse industry, an educational scholarship for current and past 4-H members having carried the 4-H horse project as been established in her honor. Applications must be postmarked no later than July 15, 2010.
JENNIFER OLSON SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT FUND - One $750 scholarship will be awarded to a current or former Howard County 4-H member enrolled at an accredited 4-year or 2-year college, university, or community college with intent to obtain a Bachelor's or upper level degree. HOWARD COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION, INC. EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS - Each year, the Howard County Fair Association offers scholarships to qualified individuals to assist with their educational expenses. This year, six $2,000 scholarships will be awarded. The Fair Association hopes that the scholarship recipients will some day return to the Fair as volunteers. Jered Harrison Scholarship - was an active member in the 4-H program and the South Carroll FFA. He showed beef steers, sheep and swine.
