Howard County 4-H Camp


Howard County 4-H Camp is a one-week residential camp, located in beautiful Garret County Maryland, at the 1,100 acre Western Maryland 4-H Education Center.


This ACA accredited camp will be held from Sunday, June 27 - Saturday, July 3, 2010. All youth, ages 8 (as of January 1, 2010) through 13, are welcome to apply. Applications will be available online.


The $375 fee, due with the application, includes transportation on Sunday, room and board for 6 nights and return transportation on Saturday. Camper activities include: crafts, cooking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, archery, sports, nature class, candle-making, riflery, campfires, talent show, a one-night rustic camping opportunity, all in a natural outdoor setting. A required parent and camper orientation will be held at the Howard County Fairgrounds in May. For more information, please contact Karen Buchsbaum at 410-313-2710.
